Dean's List
The Dean's List honors outstanding academic achievement by undergraduate students. Undergraduate students must complete a minimum of 12 credit hours at TXST and earn at least a 3.5 term GPA at the end of any Fall or Spring semester in order to receive this distinction.

What is the difference between the Dean's list and the President's list?
The Dean's list recognizes full-time students who earn a 3.5 GPA meanwhile the President's list recognizes full-time students who earn a 4.0 GPA.

How to I get my certifiate?
To receive their certificate, eligible students fill out an online certificate request after receiving an email notification. The request form can be found at the bottom of this page or under the Forms tab. Students can request their certificate even after the semester they were recognized has passed, but they must still submit the form.

I was on both the Dean and President's list, but I only got the certificate for being on the Dean's list.
Certificates are generated only for students who have been recognized on the Dean's list. For students recognized on the President's list, please contact the office of Academic Engagement either on academicengagement.txst.edu or via email at acad_engagement@txstate.edu.

Is there a recognition event?
Yes, there are recognition events for students either on the Dean's list and the President's list. Any information regarding these events is managed by the office of Academic Engagement.
