Incoming First-Time Students

Incoming first-time students for Fall 2026 will not be able to meet with an advisor before the start of the term. Our advisors can help answer registration or course questions over the phone or through email.

Assigned Advisor Update

Starting Fall 2026, all current TXST students will have an assigned academic advisor who they will meet with for all advising appointments and message directly to ask any questions they have. You can find your advisor in Texas State Self-Service. 

We recommend students message their advisor through NavigateTXST instead of through their Bobcat email.
