At the recent American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) Annual Meeting in Boston, Dr. Rodney E. Rohde was awarded the ASCP Career Ambassador Honor. Career Ambassadors and Pathology Ambassadors are a volunteer network of laboratory professional, pathologist, and resident members that promote careers in the medical laboratory in their communities. Through hand-on activities and engaging presentations, Ambassadors help young people and others understand and appreciate the medical laboratory's role in patient care and inspire them to pursue a career in the medical laboratory and pathology while cultivating relationships in their community.
