David Falleur, M.Ed., MT(ASCP), CLS(NCA), received his Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology and Master of Education degrees from the University of Florida.  Mr. Falleur is an Associate professor in the College of Health Professions, Clinical Laboratory Science program at Texas State University.  His research interests are very diverse but focus on CLS Education, Clinical Chemistry, and Hematology. 

Professor Falleur initiated the CLS Program at Texas State University has 40 years of service here with 39 years as Chair of the Program. He is Past President of the Texas Association for Clinical Laboratory Science (TACLS).  Mr. Falleur has been recently involved in efforts to establish licensure for clinical laboratory professionals in Texas and stays very active at both the state and national level. In 2014, Professor Falleur was inducted in to the Alpha Mu Tau Fraternity (AMTF). AMTF is a national fraternity whose purpose is the advancement of professionals in the medical laboratory sciences.

David enjoys teaching and is proud of the many students he has helped to have productive and exciting careers in clinical laboratories and other healthcare facilities.
