NSF Grant

As part of a Diversity Equity & Inclusion Grant awarded to Dr. Resendiz by Women in Bio, STEMinitas were hosted by Dr. Resendiz, Dr. Martinez (Sociology), and Dr. Vargas (Biology) for a day long symposium at Texas State University. STEMinitas from a local high school toured research labs and learned about resources located on campus. STEMinist mentors will be in communication with the STEMinitas for the next year as they prepare to graduate and apply to colleges and universities.

Resendiz Grant Announcement

Jessica Bowers, Lecturer and Director of Clinical Operations, has completed the Leadership Round Rock Program. The mission of Leadership Round Rock is to develop leadership skills in individuals and to promote awareness of issues and opportunities that impact Round Rock. It is designated to provide participants with important information about topics such as the area's history, infrastructure, and educational composition, as well as the significance of involvement in and support for the community.
