A new bachelor’s degree in health sciences (BSHS) is how Texas State is preparing students to help shape new smart health care networks to deliver care to patients and communities throughout the nation.

Within this program, you can customize your degree plan to fit your career goals. You can pursue a graduate degree in a clinical discipline or a variety of non-clinical health management professions. 

This program is ideal if you are interested in a career in healthcare, but want more flexibility than available in other specific programs. The BSHS program is tailored to accommodate health-related topics that are relevant and interesting to you while well-rounded for potential employers.

  BSHS program is located at the San Marcos to support health generalists and pre-professionals.  There is no requirement to take courses at the Round Rock campus
