SHIFT Digital Health Program (Summer 2026)

Texas State University is excited to introduce a new Education Abroad experience for Healthcare Administration students: the SHIFT Program—Shaping Healthcare Innovation for the Future of Technology. This international digital health summer course will take place in Saint-Étienne, France, with additional travel to Paris and Lyon. The program begins May 13, 2026.



Program Overview

The SHIFT Program provides a unique international learning experience focused on digital health and its role in shaping the future of healthcare. Students will gain multidisciplinary insights while engaging with global experts, institutions, and peer learners.

  • Travel Dates:
    May 13–31, 2026 (approximately 18 days in France)
  • Full Course Length:
    Approximately six weeks, including:
    • 1 week of asynchronous preparatory coursework before departure
    • 2.5 weeks of asynchronous work after returning

Course Credit

  • For Healthcare Administration students, HIM 4389 may count as an elective toward graduation requirements at Texas State University.
