The purpose of the Pre-Physical Therapy Organization (PPTO) is to provide information to students who are interested in Physical Therapy graduate school (at Texas State or somewhere else). PPTO also helps students find volunteer and observation opportunities that will help familiarize them with the PT field.
PPTO offers:
- Guest lectures from Physical Therapy schools in Texas.
- Informational sessions from PTs within various specialties.
- Networking opportunities
- Opportunities for clinical observation and volunteer work
- Community service
- Scholarship opportunities and information
- Social and community events
Dues of $30/semester or $40/year cover:
PPTO T-Shirt
Access to resources via PPTO Canvas site
Opportunities to meet with the organization advisor
Access to social events, workshops and other functions during the academic year.
