HIMSA Student Organization

Health Information Management Student Association (HIMSA)

Purpose

To provide service to the school, university community, and profession; to promote the profession to the campus community and general public; to promote involvement in scholastic and professional aspects of the Health Information Management (HIM) field; and to provide the opportunity for fellowship among current and future HIM students. This organization is open to all Texas State students.

Membership Requirements

  • Be currently enrolled at Texas State University.
  • Complete a one-time presentation.
  • Contribute at least 10 hours of community service or donations.
