HS Department Approval Request

This form is only to request Department Approval for HS courses. For any other course overrides visit the Requesting Registration Overrides guide. You may also email HPadvising@txstate.edu with any questions. 

We will review requests as quickly as possible in the order received. Our typical timeline is 2-3 business days, though that may increase during peak advising times.

Please answer questions fully and completely. Any missing information will require follow-up which will add to the processing time.

Submitting this form does not guarantee a seat in the class(es). If a course is closed, your name will be added to the waitlist. Department approval will be entered if/when seats become available. Priority will be given to students who need the course in the term they plan to graduate.
