If Desired, Grant Others Permission to Access Your Student Records

Under FERPA, a federal law, your student records are protected from being shared with others without your permission.

You can grant parents, guardians, and/or others permission to access your records via the Bobcat Family Portal. The request is initiated by the person who wants access to your student records. They will need to submit the request after creating a Bobcat Family Portal profile. Then, you will receive a notification through email of the connection request. If you approve the request, they will have access to view your information the next day.

You can approve the following types of access:

  • Enrolled Hours/Schedule
  • Enrollment Status/Degree Information
  • Holds
  • Financial Aid Information
  • GPA/Completed Coursework
  • Account Balance
